Business Development Executive - Hyperscaler, NeoCloud & Sovereign AI

Penguin Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth within the Hyperscaler, NeoCloud, and Sovereign AI markets. This role will be instrumental in expanding our footprint by building strategic relationships and winning new business in enterprise AI solutions.

Responsibilities

Drive net-new business by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities with leading Hyperscaler, NeoCloud, and Sovereign AI organizations
Leverage industry expertise and market intelligence to align Penguin’s solutions with evolving customer needs and regulatory requirements
Establish and maintain strong executive-level relationships with C-Suite stakeholders, research leaders, and decision-makers across the vertical
Lead consultative sales engagements to demonstrate the value of Penguin’s enterprise AI offerings and ensure alignment with client objectives
Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, and delivery teams to design tailored solutions that drive measurable business outcomes
Represent Penguin at industry events, conferences, and forums to build visibility, credibility, and pipeline opportunities
Ensure seamless post-sales engagement, fostering long-term partnerships and expanding account growth
Build and maintain relationships with key ecosystem partners to enhance solution offerings and market reach

Required

10+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or account leadership roles, with a strong focus on the Hyperscaler, NeoCloud, and Sovereign AI sector
Demonstrated success in selling complex, enterprise-level solutions (AI, data platforms, or advanced technologies preferred)
Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate complex solutions into clear business value
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
Exceptional executive presence, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to influence, lead, and collaborate within a matrixed organization and across cross-functional teams
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and productivity tools (MS Office Suite)
Highly organized, with strong time management and strategic planning capabilities
