Audit Manager
Lincoln Group is partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing accounting, tax, and consulting firm to identify a highly motivated Audit Manager for their Colorado Springs team. The Audit Manager will oversee client engagements, guide audit teams, and contribute to staff development while delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
Direct the full cycle of audit and attestation engagements from planning through completion
Assign, supervise, and mentor team members to ensure project efficiency and quality
Build and maintain strong client relationships as the main point of contact
Streamline internal processes and support initiatives that enhance staff development
Participate in firm business development activities and represent the organization in the community
Expand knowledge in specialized industries to provide deeper client insights
Monitor compliance with professional standards, regulations, and internal policies
Deliver clear, strategic financial recommendations to leadership teams
Contribute to special projects and firm-wide initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5 years of progressive audit or public accounting experience
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop professional staff
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Strong critical thinking with the ability to adapt quickly to change
Preferred
CPA designation strongly preferred
Prior government and/or EPB audit experience a plus
