Administrator for Informational Systems (PEIMS)
Education Service Center, Region 2 is seeking an Administrator for Informational Systems (PEIMS) to provide leadership in the collection and reporting of student data. The role involves supporting LEAs in data compliance, supervising staff, and collaborating with educational agencies to enhance services statewide.

Responsibilities
Support ESC LEA's PEIMS staff in the collection, formatting, and submission of all data required for PEIMS submission according to PEIMS Data Standards
Support LEAs in submitting all required data files to the state (e.g., fall, mid-year, summer, and extended-year programs)
Directly supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel
In collaboration with the Associate Director(s), provide for the development and implementation of professional development plans to improve competencies of center staff
Complete personnel evaluation process of assigned staff in a timely manner
Serve as a representative of ESC-2 displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of the education community and with the public
Demonstrate a professional attitude and employ professional ethics in relationships with external clients, internal staff and the community
Participate collaboratively with regional LEAs, other ESCs and the Texas Education Agency representatives to enhance services and support to LEAs statewide
Participates in staff development activities, staff meetings and curriculum development activities as required or assigned

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field
Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Public Administration
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in PEIMS collection methods
Extensive knowledge of TEA data standards and policies concerning PEIMS reporting
Comprehensive understanding of K-12 student administrative management systems
Experience in Student Information, HR Software and Financial Management
Knowledge of student informational systems (i.e. Ascender, Skyward, eSchools, etc.)
Knowledge of Texas Education Agency (TEA) PEIMS Data Standards and state reporting requirements, including TSDS Data System (TSDS) collections
Experience with state and federal reporting to include TEC (Texas Education Code), TEAL, TEDS, Unique ID, etc
Working knowledge of state and federal funding regulations required
Ability to assist Associate Director(s) in the management and coordination of multiple budgets
Preferred
Experience in Ascender software
Experience in creating training materials and providing professional development to large and small groups
Ability to manage staff (support staff and professional)
Ability to manage and coordinate diverse program functions
Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
