Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a Technologist-Echocardiographer to perform imaging procedures and treatments to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The role involves developing and implementing procedure plans, maintaining equipment, and participating in performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principals/theory and utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments, as demonstrated by procedure/treatment results

Develops appropriate procedure/treatment plan

Implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established BMG protocols/guidelines

Completes documentation as required to comply with BMG policies and procedures

Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff

Participates in BMG and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards

Completes assigned goals

Qualification

Required

Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease

Registered by ARDMS and/or CCI or new graduate who is waiting to take registry. Proof of registry/certification required by primary source must be available within 12 months of graduation

BLS certification required within 14 days of hire date

Basic computer literacy skills

ARDMS/CCI or new graduate who will obtain required registry/certification with 12 months of hire

BLS WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE
