Responsibilities
Support the development and testing of scientific software
Assist in processing and visualizing atmospheric science datasets
Collaborate with scientists to refine data acquisition routines
Develop scripts and small applications for workflow automation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge of programming languages such as FORTRAN, C/C++, Java, and/or Python
Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
B.S. in a physical science or related discipline, or High school diploma, plus four years of experience in a relevant technical position
