Responsibilities
Design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and lighting control systems for a variety of project types
Perform routine calculations such as sizing distribution equipment, feeders, and branch circuits
Generate equipment schedules and code compliance documentation
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit
Excellent communication skills
4 years of experience as a Project Designer in Electrical Engineering for building power and lighting systems
Possess a working knowledge of building codes, NEC, and CA Title 24 requirements
Comfortable working in an office environment
Ability to work both independently and with a team
Must have excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
Preferred
6 or more years of experience as a Project Designer in Electrical Engineering
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
EIT. PE License or demonstrated progress toward these goals
LEED AP or other relevant certifications
