Responsibilities

Improve and protect the software and systems behind the organization's technology services, including management of scalability, availability, latency, performance, security, and capacity

Enable great customer experience and product innovation by continuous improvement of operational support and end-to-end identification and resolution of customer friction points

Leverage emerging DevOps-centric automation tools and technologies for CI/CD, configuration management, and sustainable system scaling through automation and system evolution

Lead implementation of scalable and robust full-stack applications using Core Java, Advanced Java, Spring Framework, and Angular

Design and develop software applications using Test Driven Development with Spring Boot Microservices architecture. Create dynamic and responsive front-end applications using Angular

Maintain live services by measuring and monitoring latency and overall system health, creating dashboards for continuous monitoring, and improving service quality using monitoring feedback

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience

8-10 years of related experience

Previous success in technical engineering with coding experience beyond simple scripts

Demonstrated fluency in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Strong understanding of site reliability engineering principles and software development lifecycle

Preferred

advanced degree

experience in the securities or financial services industry

familiarity with tools such as Amazon S3, AWS, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Microsoft Azure, Oracle, Python, and Terraform at various proficiency levels
