Responsibilities
Assist in the development of airfield design documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Perform engineering calculations, design analyses, and prepare technical reports under the supervision of a Professional Engineer
Contribute to the preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, and FAA-compliant designs
Participate in field visits and inspections to observe ongoing construction and verify quality standards
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget
Support planning and preliminary design efforts for runway, taxiway, and various other airport infrastructure projects
Analyze data, apply standard engineering techniques, and identify discrepancies in results
Maintain and organize project documentation in compliance with FAA and municipal standards
Engage in quality control efforts and assist in resolving technical issues during design or construction phases
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
Willingness to work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and field staff
Ability to participate in multiple site visits and interact with clients and contractors
