Responsibilities
Performs Electroneurodiagnostic tests within approved standards to ensure that the physician can make appropriate interpretation/ intervention of the patient's neurological status
Provides routine/preventive maintenance on electroneurodiagnostic equipment by calibrating and cleaning equipment to ensure that data obtained is accurate and with defined parameters
Completes assigned goals
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology training program of Associate degree or 2 years of college level education with classes in English, math, biology, anatomy and physiology, or 3 years END experience
1 year of clinical experience
Skill and proficiency in the concepts, principles, and techniques of the field of Neurodiagnostic, including EEG, EMG, EP, EMU and NCS
BLS WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE
Preferred
Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program
Meets all requirements to be eligible to sit for exam for one of the following certifications: R.EEG T., R.EPT T., R. NCST., CLTM or CNIM
