Responsibilities

Experience handling complex civil litigation matters from initiation to resolution including arbitration, mediation and/or trials
Strong case management skills, including ability and initiative to lead matters, manage deadlines and move matters forward
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills
Excellent leadership skills
Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities
Education law experience and/or public entity experience
Prior experience with civil rights, special education, insurance defense or personal injury defense preferred
Admission to the California State Bar

Minimum of twelve years of litigation experience

Excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills
Excellent leadership skills
