Responsibilities
Be a mission-critical member of the leadership team, unify distributed engineering efforts and own the plan to deliver high-profile new tools and features for developers that build AWS
Lead strategic initiatives across many AWS teams that will provide developers with high-impact improvements
Draw on your knowledge of software development to hold a high standard of excellence for the developer experience
Drive technical requirements, design, and delivery planning, working across engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure successful launch of initiatives
Enable transparency and decision-making across AWS senior leadership by providing critical communication and clear status of the initiatives you own
Apply your expertise, problem solving skills, and creativity to add value and diversity of thought to our team
Qualification
Required
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
3+ years of software development experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred
8+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
6+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
