Responsibilities
Oversees project planning, project meetings direct reports/suppliers/contractors, researches new equipment/production methods/equipment and problem solving, and can include Lean initiatives
Conducts plant manpower planning/strategies, OT planning, headcount/schedule coordination, Paycom attendance and approval
Manages plant maintenance: daily priority communications, project planning/ review, daily production demands and creates weekly production schedule based on demands
Tracts plant KPI’s: Safety, Quality, delivery, inventory, cost, +people
Administers communications to plant staff and employees: plant KPI’s, safety communications, general/specific training, management of change/new processes/personnel changes/alert notices
Writes/revises the plant standards: Work Instructions Manual, alert notices, implementation of Lean Principles 5S
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business management or related field
Proven relevant experience of two or more years in the same field
Strong management and leadership skills
Strong motivational skills to effectively motivate the team
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a prominent level of accuracy
