Responsibilities
Serve as a Video Systems Engineer supporting a government customer
Deliver enterprise video collaboration capabilities, including:
• Architectural design and optimization, system evaluation and analysis
Work closely with Sr. PM to perform:
• Technical planning
• System integration, verification and validation
• Evaluate alternatives including cost, risk, supportability
• Analysis of total systems
Lead analysis at all levels and lifecycle of total system product
Ensure the conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions
Translate customer requirements into hardware/software specifications
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI with a Full-Scope Polygraph
BS in Computer Engineering or related
11+ years of relevant experience
Broad system experience including, modern enterprise video capabilities architecture
Experience analyzing, designing, and developing enterprise video capabilities
Technical expertise within video communication networks
Technical knowledge of Unified Communication (UC) network systems
Ability to provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architectures
Experience operating Cisco system components, including, servers/border elements
Experience operating VMWare servers
Understanding of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and H.323 comms protocols
Understanding of transport layer security protocols and certificates
Experience supporting Unified Communications (UC) solutions, including: Voice, video, and the supporting infrastructure
Experience supporting real time and on-demand streaming infrastructure
Experience supporting Poly / Cisco / Skype VTC platforms
Experience working on an enterprise ticketing system
Knowledge of networking fundamentals in support of real time media delivery including multicast platforms
Experience in large-scale video migration efforts
Preferred
Systems Engineering: 10 years
modern enterprise video capabilities architecture: 5 years
analyzing, designing, delivering video capabilities: 5 years
