Data Scientist (Level II-IV)
BTS Software Solutions is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business focused on creating technology solutions that serve people. They are seeking a Data Scientist to perform data and computer science analysis in support of customer operations, utilizing advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques.

Responsibilities
Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering etc
Coding knowledge and experience with various languages: Python, Java, C, C++
Experience as a Data Scientist working to support single or multiple domain areas
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
Experience in Data Processing: Data management and curation, data description and visualization, workflow and reproducibility
Experience in Modeling, Inference, and Prediction: Data modeling and assessment, domain-specific consideration
Ability to use analytic modeling, statistical analysis, programming, and/or another appropriate scientific method, develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets in various states of organization, cleanliness, and structure that account for the unique feature and limitations inherent in National Agency data holdings
Ability to translate practical mission needs and analytic questions related to large datasets into technical requirements and, conversely, assist others with drawing appropriate conclusions from the analysis of such data

Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science
Entry level positions require an Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years, or a Master's Degree plus 3 years of relevant experience
Higher positions require up to and including an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly
Preferred
