ISSJ III - Targeteer Analyst (TA) - SME

BTS Software Solutions is seeking Targeteer Analysts to assist USSOCOM subordinates or associated organizations and staffs. The TA-SME will be responsible for executing precision point mensuration and conducting training for incoming certified Targeteers to support forward-deployed RTFs in all elements of TF-specific targeting.

Responsibilities

Assist USSOCOM subordinates or associated organizations and staffs

Conduct training of incoming certified Targeteers on orders to support forward-deployed RTFs

Execute precision point mensuration, accurate Joint Desired Point of Impact Identification (JDPI) and placement

Perform Collateral Damage Estimate (CDE) analysis and estimation in both dynamic and deliberate targeting situations

Communicate accurately and effectively with USSOCOM senior leadership and customers

Required

Eight (8) or more years of all-source intelligence analyst experience at the full performance level, with five (5) or more years working for or with USSOCOM SOF or national level agencies, such as NSA, CIA, or DIA

At least three (3) years of experience and knowledge in intelligence support to special operations

Superior proficiency, knowledge, understanding, and experience with current all-source analytical techniques, theory, methodologies, processes, and trends

Demonstrate superior proficiency and knowledge of the current suite of all-source intelligence tools

Three (3) or more years of experience writing formal finished intelligence assessments (e.g., white papers, targeting packages, or other serialized finished intelligence products)

Demonstrate experience preparing and delivering intelligence briefings at the Colonel (O-6) / GS-15 level or higher

Expert knowledge of SOF and or CT intelligence experience

Certified in CJCSI 3505.01C (Target Coordinate Mensuration Certification and Program Accreditation)

Experienced in directing subordinate analysts in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments

A minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Targeteer in an Intelligence Task Force, National Intelligence Support Team, National Military Joint Intelligence Center, Combatant Command, or a non-DoD equivalent IA operational community

Experience with target material production (TMP), to include, but not limited to, target development and validation
