Responsibilities
Technician will be required to support mechanical operations in and around Test Stand/fixtures
Operate and maintain equipment for test support
Comprehend various test setups and lead the mechanical responsibilities while following applicable standard operating procedures
Operate forklifts from Class VII and below, mobile and overhead crane, and other similar equipment
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Three (3) years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and one (1) year of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area
Must have successful completion of vocational/military/technical school training in practical or industrial arts and one (1) year of experience in mechanical fabrication and structural/fixture setup supporting engineering or testing of military hardware
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance
LPART (Liquid-Propellant-Action-Response-Team) certified or ability to obtain once hired
Hold or obtain Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement
Comprehend various test setups and lead the mechanical responsibilities while following applicable standard operating procedures
Operate forklifts from Class VII and below, mobile and overhead crane, and other similar equipment
Preferred
Industrial Maintenance/Mechanical A.A.S, or Aerospace Technology A.A.S preferred
Welding experience a plus
