This role is pivotal in shaping the data ecosystem, leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization. The Senior Data Architect will design robust data models, mentor a team of data engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Lead the creation and implementation of enterprise-wide data strategies

Architect scalable data models and integration frameworks using Microsoft Fabric

Design and oversee data ingestion pipelines from ERP and other enterprise applications into Azure Fabric

Setup Azure DevOps practices for CICD

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Mentor and guide data engineers in best practices, architecture standards, and career development

Ensure data architecture aligns with governance, security, and compliance standards

Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data solutions

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations to enhance data capabilities

Document architectural decisions, data flows, and integration patterns

Support agile development practices and continuous improvement initiatives

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data strategy

Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and data modeling techniques

Proven experience designing and implementing data integrations across complex systems

Strong understanding of ERP systems and data ingestion methodologies

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline orchestration tools

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or related industries

Familiarity with data governance frameworks and metadata management

Familiarity with AWS ecosystem, Redshift etc

Knowledge of AI/ML data requirements and integration with analytical platforms

Certification in Azure Data Architecture or related technologies
