Responsibilities
Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects from initiation through to delivery and commissioning
Support customers in solving complex problems, as well as provide customer training and technical on-site support
Provide leadership to multiple stakeholders to define requirements, establish system design, coordinate deliveries and report to customers
Oversee systems integration – specifically, work with customer utilities in integrating TRUConnect AMI to other utility vendor systems
Negotiate, implement, and supervise subcontracts, when required
Regularly review and report on project performance to management and other stakeholders
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree or advanced certification in Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering (Computer, Electrical or Systems), or other related field
6+ years of experience managing the operation, deployment and/or installation of large, multi-faceted projects in large IT, telemetry, control or communications systems/networks
Customer/stakeholder management experience
A demonstrated aptitude for understanding complex technical communication systems and technology in a short time
Attention to detail, deadlines and strong problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently while exercising proactivity, flexibility and good judgement
Strong organizational, planning and follow-through skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple projects, tasks, stakeholders and remain focused in a fast paced, high volume work environment
Ability to manage dynamic external and internal stakeholder relationships
Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills
Proficiency using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Preferred
A PMP designation is preferred
Experience in AMI/AMR, RF or Wireless communications is an asset
