Field Operations Engineer
Montrose Environmental Group is a global environmental services provider focused on delivering innovative solutions for environmental challenges. They are seeking a Field Operations Engineer to lead field engineering and operations for water treatment technology at customer sites, ensuring project schedules are met and safety compliance is maintained.

Responsibilities
Leading the field engineering that supports the oversights, operation and management of ECT2’s design and systems
Leading a dynamic team of operators and field technicians traveling to the site to support the field engineering and operations efforts
Leading the preparation of the onsite team weekly and daily for the tasks that need to be executed to stay on track with the project schedule
Leading the commissioning and start-up of all new systems, focused on the technical and project specifications
Leading the inspection of equipment delivered to the site, and document issues carefully and thoroughly. Follow up with suppliers to remedy issues related to procured equipment
Leading the scheduling and coordination with the customer and other on-site contractors to manage normal operations
Daily reports to the client and ECT2 Project team for site status and progress
Accurate and timely reporting for onsite conditions and tasks are completed; process and site condition changes, treatment completed, treatment schedule forecasting
Onsite Safety compliance and adherence for the ECT2 team and associated subcontractors supporting the ECT2 site. Development of additional safety literature as applicable, Job Hazard Analysis, Management of Change reviews, Health and Safety plan amendments
Organizing & supporting development and management of on-site staffing schedules
Organizing & supporting the review and development of drawing packages, documents, and equipment included in the project
Organizing & supporting the effort to supply copies of inspection, test, and system operations reports
Organizing & supporting project team meetings by providing pertinent updates on ECT2 progress
Organizing & supporting detailed operational planning to support site 24/7 operations
Developing Additional technologies and strategies on site to improve system operation
Developing relationships with stakeholders onsite, including vendors, client operations staff, and the ECT2 team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical Engineering or equivalent industry experience/certifications considered
3-5 years of commissioning and start-up experience of large capital projects in the environmental, construction, oil & gas, chemical, or power industries preferred
Familiarity with industrial piping systems, water treatment equipment, or distillation equipment is preferred
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases, Microsoft Office software, etc
Excellent time management, organizational, and technical communication skills
Demonstrated experience taking responsibility for high level tasks and driving all sub tasks to rapid conclusion with autonomy
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel
Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred
3-5 years of commissioning and start-up experience of large capital projects in the environmental, construction, oil & gas, chemical, or power industries
Familiarity with industrial piping systems, water treatment equipment, or distillation equipment
