Goodman JFS of Broward County is a behavioral health organization seeking a Licensed Clinician to provide a range of behavioral health services to clients. The Clinician will conduct intakes, assessments, treatment planning, and maintain accurate client records while adhering to confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

Provide a full range of behavioral health and counseling services in a manner to ensure maximum benefit to client
Ability to provide counseling services to children, families and adults
Knowledge of Co-Occurring Disorders
Provision of group services as required
Participation in community outreach
Flexibility to work at different assigned locations
Attend meetings, trainings, presentations; ongoing attainment of knowledge, skills, and licensure
Meet agency expectations of clinical quantitative and evaluative standards
Maintain accurate client records in electronic health record database and complete administrative paperwork in a timely manner
The ability to function and operate as a team player, showing dignity and respect for all
The ability to comply with all equal employment opportunity and ethical standards and regulations
The ability to take direction in a respectful and productive manner from supervisors and managers
The ability to report in a timely fashion, with an attitude oriented to service, for work as scheduled
The ability to have cordial and professional relationships both within the organization and with all vendors, clients and third parties
If appropriate, the ability to produce all appropriate paperwork and reports consistent with contractual, state, or federal standards, and to prepare and submit such paperwork on a timely basis
The ability to understand and comply with all Goodman Jewish Family Services policies and procedures
The ability to render compassionate care and an equal commitment to serve clients in need of healthcare assistance

Qualification

Licensed by State of Florida’s Degree in mental healthCo-Occurring DisordersAddiction issuesSkilled in working with resistant clientsComputer skillsJudgmentSkilled in domestic violence casesNeeds of vulnerable populationsCollaboration skills

Required

Master's Degree in a mental health discipline and with relevant experience
Licensed by the State of Florida. (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)
Knowledgeable about the needs of neglected, abused and exploited children and older adults
Knowledge of addiction issues
Knowledge of Co-Occurring Disorders
Skilled in working with resistant clients and families
Able to collaborate with other disciplines and services
Skilled in working with domestic violence clients
Able to exercise good judgment
Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook Calendar, Excel
