They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to take ownership of projects, deliver impactful features, and collaborate closely with leadership to drive value for users.

Responsibilities
Partner with customer-facing “co-pilots” (founders and GTM leaders) to define roadmap and deliver value for DubClub's users
Lead design and development of full-stack product features in the mobile and web app
Balance speed, scope, and maintainability—delivering immediate impact while keeping long-term scalability in mind
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to other engineers
Collaborate with product and design to create intuitive, reliable, and valuable user experiences
Qualification
Required
Based in Chicago (we're building a local hub)
6–10+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in startups/scaleups
Proven track record of shipping impactful features across the stack
Passionate about technology and solving user problems through product. You thrive on building elegant, practical solutions that people love to use
Strong technical judgment: you know when to optimize, when to cut scope, and when to refactor
Excellent communicator and collaborator, especially with non-technical teammates
Excited about the sports betting space and eager to shape the future of how creators and fans interact
Preferred
Bonus: experience in marketplaces, fintech, or consumer-facing products
