Appvion is a leader in specialty and high-performance coatings, and they are seeking an E&I Journeyman to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production and facilities equipment. The role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems to support production uptime and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment

Troubleshoot and repair low and high-voltage circuits

Diagnose and resolve equipment failures using schematics, blueprints, and testing tools

Replace motors, switches, meters, photo-eyes, and other electrical components

Analyze and correct issues in PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs

Calibrate instruments for flow, pressure, temperature, and other variables

Install and maintain control and measurement systems

Accurately document work performed in a computerized maintenance system

Start on 1st shift (6am–3pm, Mon–Fri, 45 hours/week), with a transition to rotating 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm and 6pm–6am, including weekends)
