Staff Technical Product Manager – DC Cooling Systems

The Staff Technical Product Manager – Data Center Cooling Systems is responsible for driving the strategy and roadmap development, technical design, validation, and commercialization of cooling solutions for data centers, ensuring high-performance and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities
Define technical requirements and specifications for data center cooling systems
Own the strategy and roadmap development for cooling systems portfolio
Lead cross-disciplinary engineering reviews (thermal, mechanical, fluid dynamics, reliability)
Oversee prototype development and testing, thermal efficiency validation, and reliability trials
Specify CDU design parameters, flow rates, and integration with facility cooling loops
Define and validate TCS hardware and control algorithms for system optimization
Lead software integration for monitoring, telemetry, and automated regulation
Interface directly with server and rack design teams to ensure seamless cooling adoption
Develop cost, manufacturability, and scalability plans for volume production
Engage with suppliers for joint development and qualification of components
Act as the primary technical expert in customer engagements and field trials
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical/Thermal Engineering, with a strong foundation in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and thermal management systems
10+ years of experience in engineering design and product leadership, with a proven track record in developing, testing, and deploying cooling systems for servers or HPC environments
Strong expertise in cooling product development, fluid system reliability, and familiarity with ASHRAE and industry standards for data center cooling
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and driving projects from concept to deployment, aligning engineering design with product strategy and business goals
Hands-on knowledge of Liquid Cooling Technologies for data centers, as well as advanced materials, corrosion prevention, and coolant chemistry
Proficiency with simulation tools (CFD, thermal modeling) and rapid prototyping
Customer-facing experience with hyperscale or enterprise data center clients, with a solid understanding of serviceability, TCO considerations, and data center construction/MEP activities
