Responsibilities

Lead business development and capture strategy for Space Force and defense-related opportunities

Partner with business unit leads to shape competitive, mission-aligned solutions

Build strong relationships with USSF, USAF, and Space acquisition stakeholders

Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and opportunity assessments

Oversee capture execution: teaming, proposals, and bid strategy

Track pipeline growth and win metrics to inform company-wide strategy

Represent Sabel at Space-focused events and industry conferences, showcasing our digital engineering capabilities

Qualification

Required

10+ years of BD or capture experience, with 5+ years in the Space or DoD ecosystem

Proven record of winning contracts and navigating Space acquisition processes

Experience managing high-value pipelines (GWACs, IDIQs, SBIRs, OTAs, CSOs)

Eligible for Top Secret/SCI clearance

Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills

CRM and GovWin proficiency

Willingness to travel to Space and DoD program sites as needed

Preferred

Background in digital engineering, logistics modernization, or defense technology

Experience leading or mentoring cross-functional BD and technical teams
