Responsibilities
Design code-compliant sprinkler systems
Perform site surveys and customer consultations to develop and assist in the proposal of sprinkler alteration and installation solutions
Scope development and pre-bid planning
Coordination with other designers, the sales team and the install team during all phases of the project
Specification clarification
Site Visits when necessary. Participate in sales presentations
Attend sales meetings
Assist in the cost review of project proposals
Attend sales to design and design to operations turnover meetings
Support design functions in other branches
Qualification
Required
5 years' experience in sprinkler design
NICET Level II in Water Based System Layout
Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience in reading drawings, specifications and fire codes with an attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Strong organization and analytical skills
Preferred
Additional experience in sales support or project management
Level III and State of Ohio Designer License
