They are seeking an intern to join their Software Bioinformatics team, where the intern will gain hands-on experience with bioinformatics pipelines and contribute to the development and optimization of these systems.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of analytical pipelines and software requested by the Product Development and Computational Biology team
Collect and document product and software requirements and findings from analyses and code developed and executed by themself and others
Assist with the development of Python programs of medium to high complexity
Maintain accurate documentation of programs and procedures
Assist with the integration of software components into pipelines
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in science, life sciences, computer science, or a field related to the essential duties
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred
Preference given to candidates with a record of outstanding academic achievement
