The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and developing independent research, mentoring graduate students, and teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in industrial and systems engineering, operations research, or a closely related field
Rank-appropriate record of research accomplishments (i.e., publications and extramural funding)
Professional service
Ability to contribute to the department's teaching mission at both the graduate and undergraduate levels
Demonstrated interest in collaborative research in areas represented by the department's existing faculty
Demonstrated ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines to expand disciplinary boundaries to address complex technical and societal challenges
Recognition of research excellence as measured by best paper or society awards
Instructional experience in higher education
