Vise is a technology driven Investment Advisor seeking an experienced Investment Operations Specialist to join their Investment Strategy Team. The role involves supporting the operational center of the investment process by ensuring accounts are in order, resolving issues, and working with engineering teams to improve processes.

Responsibilities

Ensure all accounts are in good order on a daily basis by reviewing daily reconciliation reports
Resolve daily account issues at custodians and on the Vise platform
Run and analyze daily and weekly portfolio oversight reports to ensure all accounts are being managed to their mandate
Work directly with the engineering team to articulate solutions to systematize daily processes and serve as the liaison between our engineering team and custodial partners
Ensure all Vise investment processes adhere to regulatory requirements, including trade settlement, reconciliation, and reporting processes
Ensure our performance engine is in good order and performance is up to date for all client accounts
Support daily trading activities

Required

Minimum of two years in a financial services operations role
Experience working for or with SMA providers and TAMPs
Familiarity with RIA custodian platforms such as Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, Goldman Sachs, Altruist, and TradePMR
Ability to work with long short strategies or strategies that include margin
Proficient with alternative investments including interval funds and private placements
Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, or other data platforms is a plus
