Responsibilities
Analyze planning processes for efficiency and make recommendations to management
Prepare and/or verify accuracy of work orders and work activity schedules
Conduct planning meetings and provide planning status to project schedules
Prepare, track, and control work orders, required to accomplish assigned activities
Provide miscellaneous planning as required by manager
Review and analyze work documents for proper classification, priority, and description
Prepare work documents in accordance with work control processes and procedures
With input from field work supervision, estimate and establish man hours, material, and manpower needed for job completion
Support material requisition
Develop work orders for low and medium risk/complexity jobs
Assist in the development of complex work orders
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) and 2 years' practical work experience in maintenance or related area, or an equivalent combination of education (e.g., trade school degree) and directly related experience
Knowledge of operational, maintenance work activities, and preventive maintenance planning is required
Preferred
Maintenance or construction craft experience, or Field Work Supervision experience highly desirable
Knowledge of operational, maintenance work activities, and preventive maintenance planning at 222-S Laboratory or Category 3 Nuclear Facilities is desired
