Responsibilities
Design and build new features for the Snowflake Feature Store in collaboration with senior engineers
Write, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable code in Java and Python
Help incorporate new advances in machine learning into our platform
Contribute to the operational excellence of our services by improving reliability and performance
Collaborate with engineers on partner teams to build integrated and seamless ML solutions for customers
Qualification
Required
2+ years of industry experience (or equivalent internship/project experience) designing and building data-intensive systems or software
Strong programming skills in Python or Java
A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems)
A passion for building scalable, high-performance systems
A growth mindset and an eagerness to learn and solve complex problems
BS in Computer Science or a related degree
Preferred
MS/PhD is a plus
Experience with ML data management and/or streaming, low latency data serving infrastructure
