The Senior Software Engineer, Android will be responsible for building beautiful, fast, and polished experiences across the Whop Android app, owning end-to-end customer features, and collaborating closely with founders and designers to bring product visions to life.

Responsibilities
Build beautiful, fast, polished experiences across the Whop Android app
Own end to end customer features that make their way in our weekly changelogs
Think deeply about UX and interaction design — you are the user, and you have taste
Work closely with founders and designers to turn vision into shipped product
Prototype quickly, ship fast, and care about the details
Write clean Kotlin/Compose using Hilt and Room and be able to flex into Rails when needed
Delete shit that is outdated and no longer used
Come up with reusable architecture patterns that can make us move faster later
Qualification
Required
Experience building beautiful, fast, polished experiences across Android apps
Ability to own end to end customer features
Deep understanding of UX and interaction design
Experience working closely with founders and designers
Ability to prototype quickly and ship fast while caring about details
Proficiency in writing clean Kotlin/Compose using Hilt and Room
Flexibility to work with Rails when needed
Ability to identify and delete outdated and unused code
Experience in creating reusable architecture patterns
