Responsibilities
Conduct tasks related to project monitoring, Asbestos/Lead surveys, IAQ/Moisture assessments, and/or other project assignments as appropriate
Perform air monitoring duties for asbestos abatement activities - from inspection to abatement oversight and monitoring
Analyze laboratory and engineering data
Prepare portions of Asbestos Survey and clearance reports, IAQ/Moisture assessments, and/or other technical assessment reports
Maintain consistent communication of project progress with the assigned project manager from start to finish of the project
Maintain assessment and monitoring equipment
Prepare Health and Safety Plans/Job Safety Analyses for sites
Meet utilization and other performance metrics
Make employee safety a priority both in-house and on-site, in accordance with corporate policy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field preferred
3+ years of experience performing IAQ and asbestos project monitoring activities
Current Colorado Asbestos Building Inspector accreditation/license required - additional certifications/licenses a plus
National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) 582 Certification required
Knowledge of EPA's NESHAPs and AHERA regulations as well as asbestos regulations, and guidance documents
Understand the use of Personal Protective Equipment, including the use of respirators and current fit test and medical surveillance for asbestos projects
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English - good technical report writing skills
Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to perform complex tasks and handle multiple priorities

Colorado Lead Inspector
Mold/Microbial Growth assessment Experience
National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) 582 Certification
