Responsibilities

First line of defense to support the investigation and resolution of user issues through

Effective use of troubleshooting resources

Liaising with other watch floor teammates to pinpoint overlap/dependencies

Collaborating with development team members to secure resolution as needed

Develop SOPs across the Org

Qualification

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in a technical or related discipline

5 years' of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree

Seven (7) years' experience in engineering supporting programs or contracts of similar scope or complexity is required

Familiarity with dashboard technologies such as Splunk, Grafana

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with others to determine root cause

Foundational understanding of system architecture and both physical and virtualized environments

Strong communication and requirements solicitation skills. Translate from technical development teams to end user customers and vice versa in capturing meaningful metrics and monitoring baselines and helping lead adaptations to those baselines over time to best meet customer needs

Support rotating watch floor operations shift schedule, broken into 2 x 12 hour shifts

Quarterly rotation includes: 14 day shift, 14 mid shifts, and 28 break days, along with two (2) weeks of 'Straights' (normal M-F business hours support)

Standard office environment with occasional requirements to visit client sites, labs, or field environments

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with polygraph, U.S. citizen
