InternRhombus Power is transforming defense and global security enterprises with their AI platform, Guardian. As an Intelligence Intern, you will support the Intelligence Team in producing intelligence assessments and conducting research on global security topics using AI-derived data and open-source information.

Responsibilities
Support impactful intelligence production that helps answer our customers’ most complex intelligence questions
Develop a thorough understanding of client intelligence needs and ensure analytic contributions and production effectively and efficiently meet those needs
Utilize Rhombus’ AI-informed intelligence capabilities and perform targeted open-source research to support individual and team intelligence production
Discover and assess open-source data streams that complement Rhombus’ raw data or can help in solution development
Support enhancement of Rhombus intelligence capabilities by providing feedback on existing features and supporting the development of new applications and features
Develop and employ strong analytic tradecraft to produce intelligence products that are supported with evidence, properly cited, and clearly written
Qualification
Required
Pursuing BA or BS in International Affairs, Political Science, Economics, or similar social science
Experience performing academic research and analytic writing
Comfort using and developing qualitative and quantitative analytical methodologies
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Due to the nature of our work, we are only seeking U.S. citizens for this position
Available for part-time and full-time commitment ideally for both Fall and Spring Semester
Preferred
Data analysis skills including geospatial analysis, Python, STATA, or R are highly desired
Current undergraduates (Juniors and Seniors preferred) and Graduate-level students are encouraged to apply!
