General Maintenance Tech I (Zone 4) - Baylor University

They are seeking a General Maintenance Tech I to collaborate with other technicians in maintaining and repairing various systems while ensuring compliance with safety policies and completing necessary paperwork.

Responsibilities
Collaborates with other technicians to effectively maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems
Ensures timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork
Uses tools and equipment that are standard issue and do not need further calibration or adjustment. Keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner
Works on and completes all facility team-based goals
Observes and complies with all company safety policies. Uses required personal protective equipment while satisfying all work requests
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent
0-2 years of experience
Methods and principles of general building maintenance
Demonstrates a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
Good communication skills (oral and written)
Must be punctual and dependable
Must have basic computer skills
Preferred
Craft training is preferred
