Postdoctoral Fellow, Mathematics
Tulane University is seeking a teaching postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Mathematics to work in the research group of Prof. Samuel Punshon-Smith. The position involves conducting research on stochastic models and teaching two mathematics courses per year.

Investigate the long-time behavior of stochastic models relating to fluid mechanics, stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs), dynamical systems, and ergodic theory
Teach two mathematics courses per year
Qualification
Required
A Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field is required by the start date of the appointment
A strong research background in stochastic analysis, partial differential equations, dynamical systems, or ergodic theory
Demonstrated potential for excellence in both research and teaching
