Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance trading applications using Java and Spring framework
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions for electronic trading workflows
Apply solid software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices to ensure system reliability and efficiency
Participate in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance tuning of large-scale, low-latency trading systems
Contribute to the architecture and implementation of tools supporting pricing, analytics, and risk management in fixed income trading
Engage in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 08+ years of professional experience in Core Java development
Demonstrated expertise in software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment
Experience developing and maintaining high-performance, low-latency trading systems
Preferred
Experience with ION trading technology platform
Knowledge of electronic trading workflows in fixed income markets
Deep understanding of fixed income markets, especially municipal bonds
Exposure to on-premises infrastructure and DevOps practices
Familiarity with pricing, analytics, or P&L concepts relevant to fixed income trading
Proven experience working with large-scale, low-latency systems in a trading environment
