Litigation Paralegal

Latitude Inc is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to provide essential support to attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process. The role involves case management, document preparation, discovery coordination, trial preparation, and client communication, requiring a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong knowledge of court procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with case management from inception through resolution and/or trial
Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, motions, and other legal documents
Coordinate and manage all aspects of discovery, including document collection, review, and production
Maintain and organize case files, including electronic document management systems
Conduct factual and legal research using databases such as LexisNexis or Westlaw
Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts (both electronic and paper filings)
Coordinate depositions, witness interviews, and trial preparation, including creating exhibit binders and trial notebooks
Track case deadlines and court dates to ensure compliance with procedural requirements
Communicate with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses in a professional manner
Assist attorneys during hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed
