Responsibilities

Effectively communicating project goals, alternatives, recommendations, and outcomes to project team, client and public
Prepare and manage scope, schedule and budget for proposals and contracts
Manage staff, sub-consultants and expenses during project implementation
Manage studies, reports, water and sewer modeling efforts, and/or design and construction of water distribution systems, sewage collection, storage facilities, control vaults, pumping stations, booster stations, water and wastewater treatment, stormwater systems, and green infrastructure
Anticipate project issues, including advising the client on alternatives and providing recommendations for solving issues
Secure environmental water resources work with current and future clients including cross selling of services
Timely and accurately complete OHM and sub-consultant invoices and collections
Mentor junior staff and lead teams
Implement projects from scope to completion including overall decision-making and QA/QC
Understand OHM services and how they relate to client's organization and needs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field required
Minimum of 8 years of progressively increasing responsibility in water resources including managing projects and proposal writing
State of Michigan Professional Engineer license required
Familiarity with hydraulic/hydrologic modeling of water distribution, wastewater, stormwater systems
Experience with water and wastewater infrastructure design considerations
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer skills associated with the following programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD and/or Revit, Bluebeam or other PDF software, and scheduling software, such as MS Project
Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to solve challenging problems
Self-directed and ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Team-oriented mindset and strong listening and collaboration skills
