Responsibilities

Supports nursing staff and patient throughput with patient room turnover, to include following established protocols for cleaning and stocking rooms in between patients

Supports patient throughput by transporting patients in accordance with established safety policies and in collaboration with care team members

Assists with transfer of patients when necessary

At the direction of the RN, participates in patient care to include vital signs, EKG, Phlebotomy, IV starts, and patient experience rounding

Maintains adequate levels of supplies and equipment in the department and in patient rooms

Engages in departmental process improvement initiatives
