Pastry Sales Manager

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in the pastry product category
Manage key customer accounts, build strong relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, product knowledge, and timely order fulfillment
Monitor market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and identify opportunities for product expansion, new market penetration, and strategic partnerships
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns, sales collateral, and product presentations to support sales efforts
Lead and motivate a sales team, set sales targets, provide coaching and guidance, and conduct performance evaluations

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; additional certifications or specialized training in sales and marketing are preferred

Strong knowledge of the pastry market, including current trends, customer preferences, and competitor landscape
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to identify sales opportunities, analyze market data, and develop effective sales strategies
Leadership skills to effectively manage a sales team, set goals, and provide guidance and support
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets
Proficiency in using sales management software and CRM systems
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events
