Responsibilities
The Monitor Aide monitors patients remotely from within the hospital itself
Applicants must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the facility
Previous patient monitor experience required; successful completion of video monitor training
Excellent interpersonal skills, must be able to communicate effectively, must maintain professional demeanor and perform duties effectively in stressful/emergent situations, and must be able to work independently complete assignment with minimal supervision
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
BLS required through American Heart Association
Previous patient monitor experience required
successful completion of video monitor training
Excellent interpersonal skills
must be able to communicate effectively
must maintain professional demeanor and perform duties effectively in stressful/emergent situations
must be able to work independently complete assignment with minimal supervision
AHA BLS
Preferred
prior experience in patient care preferred
Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively
