Business Development Representative (BDR) – Internship
Downstream Marketplace is a leading marketplace platform transforming the waste and construction industries. They are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern to support Strategic Account Executives in generating pipeline and building customer relationships, providing hands-on sales experience in a fast-growing tech company.

Responsibilities
Make outbound calls and send prospecting emails per week
Research and qualify leads based on monthly spend and account potential
Book demos and meetings for Strategic Account Executives
Route smaller accounts to our self-service platform
Engage with prospects on LinkedIn and other professional channels
Maintain accurate activity and lead information in our CRM and sales tools
Qualification
Required
0–1 year of sales, customer-facing, or outbound experience (internships, part-time jobs, or campus experience count!)
High energy, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
Comfortable making a high volume of calls and outreach each day
Coachable, curious, and eager to learn about sales and account development
Passionate about making an impact and excited by the idea of helping modernize waste and construction
Candidates must be located in the Greater Dallas / Ft. Worth area
