Responsibilities
Ensures that production staff is following the general company polices of Crest Industries, LLC
Ensures implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
Works with the Product Family Manager to determine specific needs for overtime
Sets limits and manages overtime hours of all production employees and staff
Plans a production schedule for all projects
Determines the material resources required
Manages the employment and material resources to meet production goals
Sets quality product standards
Establishes a routine program for consumable replacements
Makes recommendations for salary budgets to Product Family Manager based on staff suggestions and known guidelines established by management
Estimates production costs
Implements cost control programs
Analyzes production and quality control to detect and correct issues
Determines staffing needs based on planned tasks and gains approval for this staff from management
Processes terminations in accordance with company policy, receives assistance from Human Resources
Production Manager will have more than fifteen employees reporting to this position
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
At least three to five years of supervisory production experience required
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is required
Strong leadership and communication skills required
Regular, reliable attendance is required
