Molex is seeking a driven Process Engineer to join their Lincoln Automation Team. The successful candidate will work on building and debugging advanced assembly processes across the transportation solutions division, collaborating with cross-functional teams and innovating new processes.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the Lincoln facility
Being involved in the concept of machines and products
Debug tooling and machine function
Understand operator, maintenance, and production needs in order to innovate new processes and procedures
Develop an understanding of advanced manufacturing processes
Attend tradeshows and global manufacturing facilities. Develop PFMEA and process documentation for production processes
Work to develop PFMEA with cross-functional team
Help develop work instructions and controls plans for our machines

Qualification

Automation equipment experienceCAD proficiencyAdvanced manufacturing processesPFMEA developmentCollaboration skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Associates degree in Engineering or other post-secondary education/trade school
3 years of experience with automation equipment
Proficient in CAD
Availability for 20-30% Travel Domestically and Internationally

Preferred

Proficient in the operation of mills, grinders, lathes, and common tool room equipment
