Client Services Manager

Responsibilities

Production Tracking: Create and maintain comprehensive production workflows for pressroom, laminating, and foil stamping production areas to track projects through the production process
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Planning, Prepress, Client Services, Sales, Purchasing, and production departments to gather critical scheduling information
Production Optimization: Work with manufacturing operations to enhance throughput and maximize productivity through efficient run strategies and priority sequencing
Schedule Management: Update scheduling software systems and maintain accurate, current schedules posted throughout production areas
Problem Resolution: Partner with Department Managers to resolve production flow issues and respond to changing customer requirements
Resource Alignment: Ensure employees and necessary resources are properly aligned to meet production requirements and company productivity targets
Capacity Planning: Monitor plant loading and communicate potential bottlenecks or excessive open capacity to management
Meeting Participation: Prepare for and actively participate in daily production meetings, providing updates on delivery dates and job progress
Integration Management: Collaborate on new equipment integration, staffing plans, and process changes including preventative maintenance scheduling
Safety Compliance: Observe established safety and housekeeping procedures while following all company policies and ISO requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute for educational requirement)
5-7 years of offset printing experience required
Background knowledge in fulfillment operations
Previous experience in the Printing industry highly desired
Advanced working knowledge of scheduling software systems
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Effective use of intranet, email, and management information systems (MIS)
Advanced understanding of production processes and manufacturing techniques
Comprehensive knowledge of substrates, inks, varnishes, coatings, and print production materials
Ability to resolve complex internal production scheduling issues
Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities
Excellent organizational, analytical, and planning capabilities
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
Capability to sit and stand for extended periods
Visual and auditory acuity for reading, writing, and effective communication

Preferred

PMI Scheduling Professional certification preferred
Bilingual Spanish/English communication is advantageous
