CIVIL ENGINEER II (EN-20) [3 vacancies]
NEOGOV is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineer II to work with the Department of Environmental Services and the Department of Facility Maintenance. The role involves performing professional engineering work related to various permits, conducting field investigations, and assisting senior engineers with reports and applications.

Responsibilities
Assist senior engineers and branch head by preparing correspondence, reports, and permit applications to comply with permit requirements
Perform routine engineering calculations of monitoring or other data and prepare graphs, tables, charts, etc
Assist in researching and gathering data and information for lawsuits and administrative enforcement actions
Assist in conducting field investigations and taking field measurements and samples for spills, bypasses, seepage incidents, odor problems, and plan effluent qualities
Perform other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment
Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in an engineering specialty
One (1) year of non-registered professional civil engineering experience
Possession of an appropriate valid driver's license (Type 3), as required
Preferred
A Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a regionally-accredited college or university will substitute for the one year of non-registered professional civil engineering experience
