Responsibilities
Collaborate with subject matter experts, visual designers, and media developers to create instructional content
Design, write, and edit clear and engaging interactive instructional content that models and practices accurate language usage
Ensure content meets internal curriculum and style guidelines, as well as appropriate educational standards
Develop and manage project plans to coordinate the work of subject matter experts, curriculum development, and media development teams
Ensure project milestones are achieved within set deadlines
Use proprietary software tools to implement, review, and publish final content
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Second Language Acquisition, Linguistics, Education, or a related field
Five years' experience in instructional design or curriculum development for language acquisition
Experience learning or researching a Native American or endangered language
Excellent writing and editing abilities
Native-level fluency in English, plus proficiency in at least one other language
Experience facilitating intercultural communication and problem-solving
Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technology and conditions
Strong critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
Can-do attitude with openness to others' ideas
Highly self-motivated and efficient with superb attention to detail
Ability to travel periodically for on-site work with clients
