Responsibilities
Perform duties associated with the oversight, administration and inspection of transportation projects including roadway and/or bridge to determine contractor’s compliance with contract documents, plans, and specifications
Maintain detailed records of the contractor's daily operations and events that affect the work; monitor and inspect contractor's work zone temporary traffic control plan and review modifications to the plan
Record quantities of materials received or used during specified periods
Perform sampling and testing of materials and completed work in accordance with the construction contract
Oversee activities, inspections, reports, and documentation performed by CEI Inspectors
Assist the Project Oversight/Project Administrator
Provide mentorship and support to less experienced team members while serving as lead inspector on multi-inspector projects
Responsible for timely communication of events of note and general progress directly to Project Oversight/Project Administrator
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
4 year's experience in construction inspection
Must pass mandatory DMV check
Preferred
FDOT experience preferred
CTQP Pile Driving Inspection (Desired)
CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (Desired)
IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I (Desired)
