Preparing anesthesia equipment for procedures
Assisting with anesthesia procedures under supervision
Maintaining anesthesia supplies and equipment
Troubleshooting anesthesia equipment
Ensuring a sterile and organized environment for procedures
Qualification
Required
Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program required
BCLS - Basic Life Support required
Proficiency in setting up, calibrating, and maintaining anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices
Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques for assisting with invasive and non-invasive procedures
Strong organizational skills to manage supplies and maintain readiness across multiple procedural areas
Effective communication skills to interact with anesthesia providers, nurses, and other healthcare team members
Ability to remain calm and responsive in high-pressure and emergency situations
Familiarity with patient care protocols and safety standards
Preferred
College or coursework in Biology, Physiology, Anatomy, or related scientific fields preferred
0-2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician in a hospital or surgical setting preferred
1-2 years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) preferred
Cer.A.TT - Certified Anesthesia Technologist preferred
